Victory at Advanced Cybersecurity CTF 2025

Congratulations to the dcua-school team on their victory at the Advanced Cybersecurity CTF 2025, held on July 12, 2025. The competition was organized by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as part of the educational course from Google “Cybersecurity for Small Organizations” in partnership with SoftServe. The CTF format included practical cybersecurity challenges simulating real-world attack and defense scenarios, emphasizing analysis, technical thinking, and teamwork. Student teams from various institutions participated. The younger students of the dcua-school club demonstrated consistent and confident performance throughout the competition, securing 1st place with 3,250 points — the highest score of the tournament and a significant lead over other participants. For comparison, TeamNotFound took 2nd place with 1,800 points, and CyberSheva placed 3rd with 1,700 points. This result highlights the high level of preparation of the participants, their ability to handle complex tasks, and their skill in applying acquired knowledge in practice. We congratulate the team on a well-deserved victory and wish them continued success in future competitions and educational challenges.
