On January 22, 2025, under the auspices of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center and CRDF Global, the All-Ukrainian Women’s Cyber Competition “SHE DEFENDS: Cyber & OSINT”. Women professionals in cybersecurity and IT, students, and young specialists seeking to develop in the field of cyber security were invited to participate. read more ..From November 20 to December 1, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOD) hosted the First National CTF. At the end of the main stage, 40 teams achieved the maximum score by completing all basic tasks. The dcua team was among the top-scoring teams and qualified for the next stage. To further differentiate the rankings, the organizers held a bonus round with higher-difficulty tasks — League of Legends. On November 23, 2025, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted the Kharkiv Regional Rookie CTF 2025 on the Cyber Ice Box platform, developed with support from the USAID “Cybersecurity of Critical Infrastructure of Ukraine” project to foster practical skills among young cybersecurity specialists. read more ..The dcua team won the international competition DEADFACE CTF 2025, held online on October 25–26, 2025. DEADFACE CTF is an open international cybersecurity competition organized by the non-profit Cyber Hacktic(San Antonio, Texas, USA). The tournament traditionally attracts top teams from around the world and features a wide range of jeopardy-style challenges, including web security, reverse engineering, cryptography, forensics, and exploitation. 787 teams with non-zero scores participated, highlighting the high level of competition. After two intense days, the dcua team secured 1st place, demonstrating consistent performance, technical depth, and effective team collaboration. This victory further confirms that dcua is a strong competitor on the international stage and ready to tackle advanced practical challenges in cybersecurity.
